Biographical Statement:
In my work, I focus on disentangling the impacts of climate change on Arctic aquatic ecosystems, combining insights from physics, biogeochemistry, and ecology. Specifically, I am interested in the role of changing seasonality and the impact of altered precipitation regimes on carbon cycling in Arctic lakes, highlighting the role of processes occurring under lake ice-cover and underscoring the cross-seasonal connections in high latitude lakes.
Research Area:
Currently, I am a Kempe Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Umeå, working with Jan Karlsson, Jean-François Boily, and Martin Rosvall on a project focusing on carbon burial in the sediments of Arctic lakes.
