Biographical Statement: Thomas (he/him) is a graduate student working with Dr. Jasmine Saros as a part of the third cohort of the Systems Approaches to Understanding and Navigating the New Arctic (SAUNNA) NRT. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia and grew up near Syracuse, New York. Thomas attended Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa for his undergraduate degree, during which time he studied phosphorus cycling in Iowa farm ponds and presented his findings at the 2022 Midwest Regional Meeting of the American Chemical Society. He graduated from Grinnell with a B.A. in Chemistry in 2023.
