Office Location: Sawyer Environmental Research Building, University of Maine, Orono, ME
Biographical Statement: I earned my B.S. in Chemistry with an Environmental Science concentration from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. During my undergraduate career I worked for USGS as a water quality lab technician and was fortunate to be able to work on two undergraduate research projects. These projects fueled my love for paleoclimate due to working on lake sediment cores, and I will be continuing studying paleoclimate at the University of Maine by investigating ice cores.
Research Statement: My research is focused on developing a paleoclimate record from ice cores by using laser ablation and hyperspectral imaging.
