Biographical Statement:  I earned my B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies (CS, HCI, Literature) from UMaine in 2023. During my undergraduate career I worked at the VEMI Lab, a leading lab for research and development of human-technology collaboration. At VEMI I was a Lead Developer on a prize winning iOS app for the USDOT, maintained and optimized a fully autonomous vehicle simulator, and aided in research on how future autonomous vehicles can most effectively communicate with passengers. These experiences have helped shape my research focus on implementing creative solutions using technology on some of the world’s biggest problems.

Research Area:

My research goals focus on analyzing ice cores with hyperspectral imaging. I aim to optimize this process by developing a machine learning program to facilitate this process.
