Biographical Statement:  I grew up on Islesboro Island, Maine, and as an undergrad at Middlebury College (Vermont) studied biology. I wrote my senior thesis on the recently extinct sea mink (Neogale macrodon) using archaeological material from the coast of Maine to understand the ecological gap left after the sea mink’s extinction. For a year after graduating in 2022, I worked as a research assistant at the HEDGE (Holocene ecology, diversity, and global extinctions) lab at Middlebury College and started my MS in the fall of 2023.

Research Area: I am currently engaged in projects assessing the faunal archaeological record of Acadia National Park. My research emphasizes knowledge co-production, cultural resource management, and climate adaptation.
