Biographical Statement:

I am a 2026 graduate of Slippery Rock University with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Geosciences, concentration in Environmental Science. For the past two summers, I have worked as a field technician intern with Beran Environmental Services, where I gained experience in invasive plant species management, project surveying, and wetland restoration. My love of the earth and earth sciences stems from my childhood spent in Alaska.

Research Area:

My research focus will be a comparison between the alpine glacier deposits in the Transantarctic mountain range and the ice sheet’s recorded extent. The comparison will be made by analyzing primary samples for exposure dates and GIS desktop models to visualize the extent of the ice sheet.
