Biographical Statement: I am a first year master’s student in the school of biology and ecology working under Dr. Jacquelyn Gill. I completed my undergraduate degree in environmental science at North Carolina State University, which is also where I am from. After finishing my undergraduate degree, I worked a handful of seasonal rangeland ecology positions across the sagebrush steppe of eastern Oregon.
Research Area: I am interested in investigating the role large mammals, namely black bears, have in the dispersal of large neotropical fruits such as pawpaw.
