Biographical Statement: Doug Hasson is an IPhD student affiliated with UMaine’s Climate Change Institute. Doug has a Masters in Environmental Law & Policy from the Vermont Law School and has worked extensively as a political operative. Doug lives in Newington CT with his wife of nearly 30 years Anna. They have three children, Ollie (23), Maddie (21) & Aiden (18).
Research Area Sketch: Doug’s research focus involves an interdisciplinary approach to better understanding the links between modern decision-making, the impacts of tribalism, post-truth societal challenges and voter behavior as they related to climate change science and policy.
