Biographical Sketch:  I am an MSc student in Earth and Climate Sciences at the University of Maine, working at the intersection of the lithosphere, cryosphere, and climate science. My interest in cryospheric science largely grew out of my experience as a student with the Juneau Icefield Research Program in 2025. I graduated from Portland State University with a BS in Geology, where my thesis used ground-penetrating radar on Eliot Glacier (Mount Hood, Oregon) to determine glacier thickness, debris cover, and thinning rate. I’m originally from Kentucky, but spent several years in Oregon before moving to Maine.

Research Area:  My research interests center on periglacial slope instability, geohazards, and a degrading cryosphere. I am particularly interested in the unstable slopes left behind by deglaciation, and how we can better monitor, quantify, and characterize mass wasting events using various remote sensing and in-situ geophysical techniques.
