Professional Interests:
Alice focuses on modern glacier-climate processes and reconstructing past climate using deposits glaciers left behind (moraines). She combines field, lab, and computational methods to address questions of ice ages and abrupt climate changes in the middle and low latitudes. She is currently using numerical models to reconstruct past glacier extents in Uganda, Colombia, New Zealand, and elsewhere.
