Biographical Statement: After receiving my master’s degree in 2009, I have worked as a researcher at the Tbilisi State University, Institute of Geography. My main research focus was studying the mountain glaciers and understanding how glaciers have responded to climate changes. Even though I have already gained some experience in this field I am looking forward to learning about the modern advances in the field of paleoclimate research at CCI.
My graduate program will be related to paleoclimate reconstructions from the oldest ice core records collected in the Allan Hills Blue ice area in Antarctica.
