On Monday, November 10, the University of Maine Police Department (UMPD) received a report of harassment involving two individuals with a prior relationship inside Alumni Hall. At 3:30 PM on Thursday, November 13, UMPD obtained additional information that elevated the circumstances to a case of domestic violence stalking. The suspect has been identified as a 50-year-old white male not affiliated with UMaine. UMPD issued a criminal trespass notice barring him from all University of Maine property.
