Dr. Northington is an ecologist interested in how climate change influences aquatic ecosystem processes. His research focuses on changes in aquatic productivity and biogeochemistry, along with altered aquatic-terrestrial linkages in Arctic and temperate aquatic systems. Currently, Dr. Northington is an Assistant Professor of Biology and Environmental Science at Husson University and a Research Associate with the U.Maine Climate Change Institute.
