Abstract: The Maine Mesonet is a UMaine-led and congressionally-funded project to build a 26-station,
research-grade weather monitoring network (mesonet) across the state of Maine. The goal is to fill
observational gaps and provide high-quality, realtime-time data for IPM & other weather-based decision tools
for agriculture and forestry. I will be going over the instrumentation side of the mesonet and what I do as the
lead technician on this project.
