INT-500 Introduction to Abrupt Climate Change
Session 2: 10 ober 9, 2013 5-8 pm Stodder Hall Room 27 (Program Flyer)
Abrupt Climate Change and Aquatic Systems
From kettle-lakes to the Southern Ocean, ACC can have dramatic impacts on aquatic ecosystems. Humans rely on many of these systems for water and other resources. This student led session will investigate the impacts of ACC on a variety of aquatic environments around the globe.

Abrupt Climate Change and Terrestrial Systems
From high arctic tundra to the forests of the Northeastern U.S., ACC threatens many of the worlds terrestrial ecosystems. Both traditional and modern societies rely on many of these systems for their livelihoods. This student led session will investigate the impacts of ACC on a variety of terrestrial environments on the planet.
