Fernandez appointed to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Science Advisory Board

Ivan Fernandez, professor in the School of Forest Resources and the Climate Change Institute, was appointed to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Science Advisory Board’s (SAB) Clear Air Scientific Advisory Committee (CASAC) in Washington DC. He will serve on the Secondary National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) Review Panel for Oxides of Nitrogen (NOx) and Sulfur (SOx). The Panel provides independent advice to EPA. Fernandez has served on various panels of the EPA SAB since 2000.
