24th Annual Harold W. Borns Symposium – April 14 & April 15, 2016
The 24th Annual Harold W. Borns, Jr. Symposium will take place on April 14, 2016 (12:00 noon – 7:00 PM) and April 15, 2016 (8:00 AM – 3:30 PM) in Stodder Hall – Rm #57- University of Maine. The Invited University of Maine Alumni Lecture will be presented by Dr. Aaron Putnam (George H. Denton Assistant Professor) on April 14, 2016 (6:00 – 6:45 PM) – Lecture Title: The Last Great Global Warming. The David Clayton Smith Lecture will be presented by Dr. Richard Judd (McBride Professor of History) on April 15, 2016 (11:15 AM – 12:00 noon) – Lecture Title: The “Year Without a Summer”: Agriculture, Environment, and New England, 1816 and After.
