Biographical Statement: I am currently a first year Master’s student in the School of Earth and Climate Science at UMaine working under Dr. Seth Campbell. I graduated from the University of Northern British Columbia in 2020 with a B.Sc in environmental science and a minor in geomorphology. I was fortunate to also complete a field season as a student with the Juneau Icefield Research Program in 2019. Following my undergrad, I worked as an environmental consultant in B.C. and the majority of the work was focused on Pacific salmonid conservation. Although I enjoyed working with salmonids, it was time to move forward with graduate school. Growing up in northwest British Columbia, I was always drawn to glaciers and knew I would build a career around studying them.
Research Area: I’m interested in using various machine learning and geophysics techniques to better understand and quantify glacier hydrology and its impacts on downstream values.
