Biographical Statement: Born and raised in the Caribbean island of Puerto Rico. Received my Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Sciences and Anthropology from the University of Puerto Rico Río Piedras Campus. Did a Research Experience for Undergraduate (REU) regarding climate change and extinct prairie species in Michigan. Also, developed outreach activities for K-12 students in Michigan and Puerto Rico. Some of my hobbies are dancing, reading poetry, and hiking.
Research Area: Indigenous populations in the Caribbean and their relationship with the environment.
