Bio:
I am a master’s student in the Climate Change Institute and the School of Policy and International Affairs studying climate change adaptation. I graduated from Dickinson College in 2014 with a BA in Environmental Studies. At the University of Maine, my work is supported by a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. During my time at UMaine, I have also interned for USAID’s Office of Global Climate Change and am currently serving as the graduate fellow for the Maine chapter of the Scholars Strategy Network.
Research Area:
My research interests include climate change adaptation, international environmental governance, climate risk management, environmental policy, institutional interactions of ocean and climate governance regimes, and climate change and development. My thesis research focuses on climate change adaptation at difference governance levels with a particular focus on the United Nations climate change negotiations process and case studies in Nicaragua and Samoa.
