Maine Science Festival 2022
The Maine Science Festival is scheduled for March 16-20, 2022. As part of the Festival, Grammy-award winning composer, Lucas Richman composed a symphonic piece focused on climate change titled THE WARMING SEA which will be performed by the Bangor Symphony Orchestra on March 19 at the Collins Center for the Arts. Preceding the symphony, three CCI faculty, Dr. Katherine Allen, Dr. Jacquelyn Gill, and Dr. Seth Campbell, will participate in a panel discussion with Dr. Cassaundra Rose (Maine Climate Council, Governor’s Office) and Ronit Prawer (Director of the Science and Innovation Network). Before the symphony, Richman will also discuss the process of creating this unique piece.
