Mitchell Center presentation on secondhand economy highlighted in BDN, Sun Journal – C. Isenhour, B. Berry
The Bangor Daily News and the Sun Journal promoted “Digging for Buried Treasure: Hidden Gems in Maine’s Reuse Markets,” which is scheduled for 3–4 p.m. Sept. 20 in Room 107 of the Senator George J. Mitchell Center for Sustainability Solutions at the University of Maine. The presentation will also be available on Zoom. Cindy Isenhour, a UMaine associate professor of anthropology, and Brieanne Berry, a postdoctoral researcher at UMaine will share findings from a five-year research project focused on characterizing the environmental, social and economic dimensions of sustainability inherent in Maine’s thriving secondhand economies.
