Kon Tiki
A new Norwegian film, is based on the 1947 expedition of Thor Heyerdahl. Heyerdahl’s epic 4,300 miles, 101 day voyage across the Pacific Ocean from South America to Polynesia on a balsa wood raft captured the popular imagination of the period. Kon Tiki (2012) is a historical dramatization directed by Norwegian Joachim Ronning.
