Research Graduate Student
Office Location: Sawyer Environmental Research Building, University of Maine, Orono, ME 04469
Faculty Advisor: Dr. Andrei Kurbatov
I received my BS in Environmental Geoscience, with a minor in Environmental Studies, from Concord University. I am a native of West Virginia, which is where I developed my love of the outdoors (great climbing and rafting if you have never been!) and geology. When I am not focused on schoolwork or research, I like to split my time between exploring the outdoors, playing video games, and traveling.
Research Area: I am currently working with Dr. Andrei Kurbatov on reconstructing Earth’s history of volcanism using cryptotephra found in South Pole ice cores.
