DESCRIPTION:The 28th Conference of the Parties (COP28) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change took place last month in Dubai.  The meetings were of significant interest because they were – controversially – led by an Emerati with significant ties to the oil industry.  Despite this controversy\, COP28 marked the completion of the first Global Stocktake\, a 5-year process designed to evaluate collective progress toward the goals of the Paris Agreement.  Dr. Isenhour and Dr. Micinski will share key insights from the meetings – including some exciting headline and headwinds\, as well as quite a few headscratchers. \n  \nJan. 31\, 2024.
