PhD Earth Sciences Candidate

Research interests

My current PhD research at the University of Maine is focused on determining the 3D ice flow dynamics of several glaciers in Denali National Park.  I primarily use Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), geodetics, and computer modeling to answer questions regarding glacier geometry, depth of ice, englacial stratigraphy, and deformation mechanisms.  I also work for the Army Cold Regions Research and Engineering Lab on a variety of permafrost and UXO projects requiring the application of GPR, resistivity, and other field geophysical techniques.
