Research interests
My research involves investigating the influence of glacial meltwater runoff, atmospheric nitrogen deposition and climate change on structuring diatom communities in alpine and arctic lakes. Using paleolimnological techniques, my research aims to reconstruct past diatom communities from lake sediment fossils and to compare those communities with current phytoplankton assemblages.
