I have a passion for the outdoors. When I'm not studying avian ecology I am birding, hiking, fishing, hunting, or playing guitar.
I am interested in the ecology of migratory and pre-migratory songbirds. My research focuses on interactions between individual's characteristics and condition and their response to predation risk at stopover sites. I am also using long term breeding and migration data to examine how these two important annual cycles interact.
