This is what former students of the Diatom Ecology Lab are up to: Master's Students
	Tim Michel Since completing his Master’s degree, Tim has been working for Milestone Microwave Laboratory Systems in Connecticut. It sounds like he very much enjoys his job, including the annual training in Italy!
Shaina Doyle Keseley After completing her Master’s degree, Shaina conducted water quality monitoring for the Lake County Health Department in Waukegan, Illinois, for two years before moving back to Minnesota. She now works for the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency.
	Caren Scott Caren is currently working on her Ph.D. in Ecology at the University of Toronto.
Courtney Salm Courtney is currently working on her Ph.D. in Ecology & Environmental Science at the University of Maine. She is continuing to work on saline lake ecology.
	Erin Wilcox Erin is currently working at the Great Lakes Water Institute at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Undergraduate students
	Lisa Poser Lisa is currently working on a Master’s in Environmental Management at Duke University.
Rita Seston Rita is currently finishing up her Ph.D. at the Center for Integrative Toxicology at Michigan State University.
	Callie Martin Callie is finishing up her Master’s degree in Environmental Education at Antioch University New England.
Maggie Henke Maggie is currently a research biologist at ChemTreat, Inc., in Richmond, Virginia.
	Jarvis Erickson Jarvis is finishing up his Master’s degree at UW-La Crosse while working in the Milwaukee area.
Jessica Czubakowski Jessica is working on her Master’s degree at the Northern Gulf Institute at Louisiana State University. She enjoys telling the Mainers how hot it is down there…..
	Carmen Daggett Carmen is working with waterfowl at the U.S. Geological Survey in San Francisco.
Audra Devault Audra is serving in the Peace Corps in Malawi.
	Kristen Pitts Kristen recently finished her Master’s degree in Fish & Wildlife at Kansas State University. She now serves as the first Lapham Fellow for American Rivers in Washington, D.C.
Lindsy Boateng Lindsy is currently working on a Master's degree in cell biology at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
	Ben Koski Ben is a fisheries technician with the Department of Natural Resources in Wisconsin.
