Graduate Certificate in Climate Science & Adaptation – K. Glover

The Climate Change Institute is pleased to announce a new workforce development program, the Graduate Certificate in Climate Science and Adaptation. This online graduate certificate program for working professionals was developed in partnership with the Division of Lifelong Learning and UMaineOnline. Coursework entails nine credit hours with graduate-level courses in the physical science basis for climate change, biosphere-society impacts, and practical application of content. The program will launch this summer, with the offering INT 500: Communicating Climate Change Science during Summer University Session 6 (July 10 – 28, 2023). INT 500: Communicating Climate Change Science includes a two-day online professional development workshop with climate experts and skill-building workshop sessions.
